Iron Boosting Mango and Kale Smoothie
I love a good smoothie for an afternoon snack to get me through the after school busyness. Kale is a great plant source of iron, but the taste of it is quite strong for most to tolerate. By pairing it with the sweetness of mango, it makes it a lot more palatable. Plus mango contains vitamin C which helps with the absorption of iron making it easier for your body to utilise the mineral.
